I remember getting my first computer when I was a kid in the 80s, growing up in Deer Park, NY. I instantly fell in love with what I could do with it, and started learning how to program. During my teens, I gave up on computers for hanging out with friends and working different jobs. After graduating high school, I took a year to figure out what I wanted to do with my life. This led me to rediscover my love for computers, so I went to school and got my first job in this field! I also met and married my wife Kelly during this time, and in a few short years, our family grew to include two amazing children!

Underdog is a culmination of my 30+ years in the industry, my passion helping businesses and people benefit from technology, my goal of providing an excellent customer experience, and my desire to educate and protect businesses from the growing threat of cyber crime. In building Underdog and its core values, I wanted this to truly be a place where people wanted to come to work and was an extension of one’s family. I’m thankful for every member of my team!

CARLOS RIBERA

As a young child, the first computer I remember using was an Apple IIe in middle school. After using it at school, I kept asking my parents to buy us a computer. Eventually, they bought an Apple IIe. After that, I became fascinated with computers and pursued the IT industry in high school, college, and beyond, bringing me to Underdog today. I love working for Underdog because it is family oriented and has strong core values that are centered on integrity and respect.



My wife and I are currently preparing our home for twins, as we look forward to a new chapter of life after losing our four children and mother-in-law in a fire in 2022. Despite losing everything in the blink of an eye, we’ve seen how God was there through it all, using people all across the country to bless us financially and be there for us emotionally. And now, God has blessed us with these twins. We’ll never forget our past loved ones as we move forward into a new season of life.

I was always curious about computers. I found myself trying out different hobbies but always reverted back to computers. Constant changes in technology and the challenges these changes present led me to pursue a career in cyber security. I love working for Underdog because they are family-oriented. We are passionate about what we do, and we’re always learning, adapting, and overcoming.



I am a United States Marine Corps Veteran. Eight months ago, my wife Samantha and I welcomed our first child, Charlie, into our lives. We love to spend time with each other, going for walks, watching movies, and making memories as a family.

KELLY CORRIDORE

I was born and raised in East Northport, Long Island. I met my husband Carmine in ‘92, we were married in ‘97, and we moved to PA in 2000. I love volunteering at the Food Pantry in Tobyhanna on Thursdays and Fridays, and I’ve also spent some time volunteering at Scouts.



After spending 20 years in the veterinary field, I decided it was time for a change (lifting large animals for two decades really takes its toll on your back!). I spent some time as a stay-at-home mom, but once the kids finished school, I was ready to get back to work. The timing was perfect to join Carmine in his endeavors with Underdog!

I love watching my husband transform his dream and passion into what it is today. The values we hold here at Underdog are the same ones we share with each other and our family, which makes it easy to be a part of this organization.

SHILKYS GILLEN

BUSINESS GROWTH EXECUTIVE

I was born and raised in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. I moved to the United States back in July of 2017 with my mom and my little chihuahua Lola. Most of my family lives in Orlando, FL. But I also still have lots of family back in DR. If I’m not at work, you will probably find me spending time with my husband and our 3 dogs at our new home!

After being in the automotive business for 5 years, I decided it was time for a change. I believe in doing work that helps others and makes a positive impact. 

Cyber security lets me protect people and their information, which feels very rewarding to me. I’ve always been interested in technology and how things work.

When I learned about cyber security, I found it exciting because it combines my tech interests with the challenge of keeping information safe.

I was attracted to Underdog because it is a family-owned business that is always looking to give back to the community.
